Complaint Contact for Victims of Women Violence

Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian National Women Commission uses new technology to improve services for women who experience sexual violence through cloud contact centers. The use of this technology is done so that complaints from victims can be well served.

The Chairman of the Women Commission, Azriana R. Manalu said this new system could help officers. One of the things that exist is that this system can record telephone calls from complainants so that the team can contact again if further needed information.

In addition, Azriana added, Women Commission will maintain the confidentiality of incoming complaint data.

“The information that provided to the public, it has been processed in advance,” Azriana said, at her office, Tuesday, as quoted by Republika.com.

Azriana also said, if people want to know more about the cloud contact center, it can be seen through the official website of the National Commission on Violence Against Women. “There, we explain the complaints received will enter the system,” he said.

He said that there are 12 volunteers from the National Commission for Women in charge of receiving complaints. The volunteers will work alternately serving the complaining community. (T/Sj/RS5)
