The Great March of Return was launched in Gaza on 30th March in five camps set up along Gaza’s border with the 1948 occupied territories.

The March mainly calls for lifting the Israeli blockade on Gaza, and demands the Palestinian refugees’ right of return to their lands from which they were expelled in 1948 as stipulated in the relevant UN resolutions.

Since the start of the Great March of Return, 160 Palestinians have been killed, including 18 children, and 16,750 injured.(R/R04/RS5)
