BELGIUM PUT ISRAELI SETTLEMENTS PRODUCTS ON THE BANNED LIST

Gaza,12 Muharram 1436/5 November 2014 (MINA) – Maria ARENA, a member in the European Parliament, said Wednesday that Israeli settlements goods are listed in the banned goods in the Belgian and European market as a part of the campaign of boycotting settlements products.

ARENA headed a delegation of 11 members of the Belgian Socialist Party, Workers’ Party of Belgium, Green party, the Christian Social Party and a number of Belgian social institutions to Ramallah Tuesday, ALRAY quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

She stressed during a meeting with Palestinian members of the Legislative council that Israeli settlements which built on Palestinian lands are illegal and that Palestinians are deprived from using and farming their lands.

This visit is a part of a campaign to boycott the Israeli settlements products.

ARENA stressed that the delegation is with establishing Palestinian state and with the solution of two states.

She explained that the Belgian parliament will exert pressure on the Belgian government to recognize the Palestinian state, hoping that peace involve the region soon. (T/P003/P3)
