Dr. Jawad Awwad, Palestinian Minister of Health

Gaza, MINA – Palestinian health minister Jawad Awwad said his ministry would convene a meeting next Sunday for its institutions in Gaza to discuss their needs and the health situation in general.

Awwad made his remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) on the sidelines of a conference held on Friday by the faculty of medicine at the Islamic University on “managing health crises and disasters in Gaza.”

The minister affirmed that his ministry would continue to provide support for the health institutions in Gaza and to send convoys of medical aid, adding that a convoy of pharmaceutical needs arrived in Gaza from Nablus a few days ago.
