AWG-MINA DISTRIBUTE DONATIONS TO ORPHANS IN GAZA

Gaza, 7 Shawwal 1435/3 August 2014 (MINA) – Aqsa Working Group (AWG) and Miraj Islamic News Agency (MINA) distributed donations from Indonesian people to victims of Israeli occupation regime forces aggression in Gaza mainly orphans, Friday. They distributed the donation in the form of cash.
“We distributed staples stuff to the poor and refugee in Gaza yesterday. Now, we distribute cash to orphans whose parents killed by Israeli occupation regime forces aggression, ” said Mohamad Gulam Romdony, AWG’s volunteers in Gaza.

Furthermore, Gulam stated he along with other volunteers would continue doing it until all aids distributed. He added Israeli occupation regime forces aggression had caused a large number of victims and social damages so they required aids immediately.

“We realized that what we do is only a small step. Many victims and refugees still need more of our help. At least the donation from Indonesian people can slightly alleviate them,” he added.

Gulam also hoped that Indonesia people continued giving their help to Gaza at least with prayer.

According to Gulam, people of Gaza thanked Indonesian people for their support. “They are happy seeing us there, moreover we give them a little help” he said.

Aqsa Working Group (AWG) was an institution focusing on freeing of al-Aqsa mosque in Palestine. AWG had held various events either on national or international scales. AWG held International conference for freeing al-Quds and Palestine attended by delegates from dozen of Muslim countries around the world in 2012. (L/K01/Syt/E01)
