AWG Holds Rajab Festival to Support Al-Aqsa Liberation

Bogor, 25 Rajab 1438/22 April 2017 (MINA) – The transnational NGO that concerns on Al Aqsa liberation, the Aqsa Working Group (AWG) held a Rajab Festival 1438 H on Saturday-Sunday, 22-23 April 2017 at Pondok Pesantren or Islamic Boarding School Al Fatah Cileungsi, Bogor District.

“The event was a part of programs to commemorate Isra’ Mi’raj or the the holy journey of Rasulallah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa salam.. It also informed Indonesian people that  the struggle for the liberation of the Aqsa Mosque from the Zionist Israeli occupation is running ,” AWG Secretary General Nur Ikhwan Abadi said in an interview with MINA team on Thursday.

The speakers to convey religious messages at this festival were, Imamul Muslimin Yakhsyallah Mansur, and some preachers namely, Umar Rasyid, and AWG Chairman Agus Sudarmadji.

The festival run various activities such as Tabligh Akbar or mass gathering to hear religious messages , Expo  displaying photos about Al Quds and Palestine, some photographs featuring the activities of Muslimin (Hizbullah)  in Al Aqsa Mosque and crafts as well as handiwork of Palestine.

“Palestinian products were on display in the Expo so that people can get to know the handicrafts from Palestine,” he added.

The bazaar showcased some products to visitirs a books,food, medicine, and clothes.

“The bazaar is expected to invite the public to have an active role on the liberation,” Nur Ikhwan said.

The next activity is medical treatment in collaboration with Medical Emergency Rescue (MER-C) and Herbal experts. All of them are for free.

Nur Ikhwan added that the festival aimed to remind Muslims that we have responsibility in liberating Al-Aqsa.
