London, 1 Safar 1437/12 November 2015 (MINA) – The Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR) has appealed to the international community to move to put an end to Israel’s extrajudicial killings against the Palestinians.

In a statement, the AOHR accused Israel of violating the rules of the international law, which prohibit any kind of assault on medical facilities and demand their protection at all times, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

It said that Israel’s use of lethal force against unarmed patients and civilians inside hospitals and medical centers forces many others to leave without receiving or completing their treatment, which poses a threat to their lives.

The organization urged the Palestinian Authority to deploy special protection units at hospitals and in their vicinity to prevent any future break-ins by Israeli military and security forces.

“It is unacceptable that six security apparatuses stand by with their hands folded towards the crimes that are committed by the occupation against medical facilities and citizens,” AOHR underlined.

An Israeli death squad believed to be from a secret police unit entered al-Ahli hospital in al-Khalil at an early hour Thursday after pretending to be Arabs and kidnapped Azzam Shalaldeh, who was bedridden in the surgical ward, and killed his cousin Abdullah in cold blood.(T/P008/R07)
