Abbas to Meet Mauritanian President in Nouakchott

Bethlehem, 12 Dzulhijjah 1437/14 September 2016 (MINA) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will be arriving in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott on Wednesday to boost relationships between the two countries, Palestinian sources said.

Abbas will be in Mauritania for a three-day visit from September 14 to 16 to meet with Mauritania President Muhammad Ould Abd al-Aziz to reportedly carry out bilateral talks to boost cooperation between the two countries in several fields, Ma’an reported, quoting the Palestinian sources.

Several Palestinian officials will escort Abbas in the visit.

Abbas was not present at the last summit of the Arab League in Mauritania July this year for grieving over the death of his brother.
