Ramallah, MINA – President Mahmoud Abbas Monday rejected US mediation in the peace process and announced a series of actions against US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Palestnian news agency WAFA reported.

He said during a meeting for the Palestinian Authority (PA) that the US has chosen not to be an honest broker in the peace process.

“We will take legal, political and diplomatic action against Trump’s announcement on Jerusalem,” he said, adding that the US has adopted a Zionist approach and that its position must be faced with many measures.

He added that a committee will be formed to study the decisions presented to the United Nations. (T/RS5/RS1)
