West Bank, MINA – Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas refused US $10 billion of Saudi Arabia in order to accept the United States (US)’s peace plan, according to the Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar report.

Saudi Arabian Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman will give that money over ten years if Abbas accepts the US peace plan and builds Palestinian government base in Abu Dis instead of occupied Jerusalem.

According to MEMO on Thursday, US envoys, officials in Ramallah have refused to comment on the disclosure of Saudi Arabia’s aid proposal.

Abbas explained that situation on the ground, made him unable to make concessions regarding illegal settlements, two-state solution and Jerusalem.

Abbas confirmed to Saudi prince that the United States would not make a written proposal, warning that if Palestinian authorities were forced to accept inappropriate proposals, it would dissolve its institutions which forced Israel to take responsibility for the occupied territories.

Senior US presidential adviser, Jared Kushner said US’s peace proposal would be announced after month of Ramadan which ends in early June.

Kushner stressed that the agreement was not an attempt to impose US will on the Middle East region. (T/Sj/R04)
