Damascus, MINA -The Israeli occupation army on Monday renewed its violations of Syria’s sovereignty by conducting two incursions into the Quneitra countryside in the country’s southwest, Anadolu Agency reported.
According to the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Israeli forces advanced toward the western side of Saida al-Hanout village in southern Quneitra. A military unit consisting of three vehicles took positions in the area while an Israeli drone hovered overhead to monitor movements.
In a separate operation, another Israeli force accompanied by two Humvees and two personnel carriers moved toward Tel Abu Qubays hill near Ein Zivan village, also in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
Neither the Israeli army nor Syrian authorities issued an immediate statement regarding the reported incursions.

Syrian government data indicates that since December 2024, Israel has conducted over 1,000 airstrikes on Syrian territory and more than 400 cross-border raids targeting the southern provinces.
Following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in late 2024, Israel expanded its occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights by seizing the demilitarized buffer zone, an action that violated the 1974 disengagement agreement between the two countries.[]
